Record flooding hits Vietnam city, eight killed in the north
Unprecedented floods hit Thai Nguyen city and surrounding provinces, with waters that submerged cars and homes.
At least eight people have died in flash floods and landslides since Monday and five others remain missing.
Back-to-back typhoons - Matmo and Bualoi - brought intense rainfall and triggered landslides. Typhoon Bualoi had triggered widespread flooding, killing at least 56 people.
