Typhoon Fung-wong displaces 1.4m in Philippines
The super typhoon slammed into the country's eastern seaboard on Sunday (Nov 9) evening, killing two people.
It landed days after Typhoon Kalmaegi swept through the islands.
"We're seeing many damaged houses and some of our main roads were not passable due to landslides," said Geofry Parrocha, a rescue worker in the town of Dipaculao (pictured).
Schools and government offices across much of the main island Luzon, including Manila were closed on Monday (Nov 10).
