Chee Hong Tat on recognition of health passports for travellers

The International Air Transport Association has been working with various countries, including Singapore, to add vaccination certificates to its travel pass. Since May 1, passengers travelling to Singapore have been able to use it for airlines and at Changi Airport. Singapore is in discussions with several countries to establish mechanisms to recognise and verify each other's vaccination certificates. These include Australia, Malaysia and South Korea. Senior Minister of State for Transport Chee Hong Tat gave this update in reply to an MP's questions in Parliament on Tuesday (Jul 6).
