Dennis Tan on Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill

Get our riding culture right, right now. MP Dennis Tan renewed his call to the Government to invest sufficiently on this front in Parliament on Tuesday (May 11). He said if cycling and other forms of active mobility are to be taken seriously, more must be done at a time when there are more recreational cyclists and e-bikers, while the network of cycling paths expands. He said a competency certificate or licensing alone will not improve the situation unless riders show respect and consideration for others. He urged the Government to work on consistent enforcement and adequate public education.
