Derrick Goh on Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill

Over the years, the Government has put much effort into improving road safety through legislation, and continues to reassess its approach in response to evolving trends and threats to road safety, said MP Derrick Goh. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (May 11), he lauded specific amendments, such as stiffer penalties for importing or selling unapproved helmets and illegal speed trials. He said such measures send a strong signal to errant road users. He also sought clarifications on the Bill.
