Infocomm sector requires different approach; Government agrees 'in principle' to livestream Parliament proceedings: MCI | Video

A different approach to the hiring needs of the infocomm sector was due to the need for diversity in an industry that has a global reach, the Minister for Communications and Information (MCI) S Iswaran said on Friday (Sep 4) in Parliament. Still, Mr Iswaran assured Singaporeans there will be further opportunities for them, as Brandon Tanoto reports. Mr Iswaran also noted the Government agreed "in principle" to the livestreaming of parliamentary proceedings, to which the Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh said that "the element of theatre" in Parliament will be "exposed".
