Critics say Beijing-backed Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AAIB) was created two years ago as a way for China to promote its political interests. AIIB President Jin Liqun says the bank may be China-initiated - but it is not China-controlled. India is in fact the biggest recipient of AIIB loans for major infrastructure projects so far.
