Maliki Osman on keeping schools and IHLs discrimination-free

Singapore's schools and Institutes of Higher Learning (IHLs) are committed to providing a supportive and safe environment for students and staff, regardless of their race, religion or gender. Second Minister for Education Maliki Osman gave this assurance in reply to Parliamentary questions on Monday (Jul 5). He said schools and IHLs will continue to strengthen their feedback processes and encourage students to speak up on any incidents of discrimination. Their curricula and policies are also regularly reviewed, taking into consideration feedback from educators, students and parents.
