Ministerial statement: Ong Ye Kung on confidence and optimism in living normally with COVID-19

Singapore remains committed to the path towards normalcy and living with COVID-19 despite the return to Phase 2 (Heightened Alert), said Health Minister Ong Ye Kung. In a ministerial statement in Parliament on Monday (Jul 26), he said the multi-ministry task force is developing a roadmap, comprising packages of measures. Besides safe management, it wants to restore economic and social activities, remodel COVID healthcare protocols and shift the collective psychology. With a high proportion vaccinated, Singapore can look forward with confidence and optimism to living with an endemic COVID-19.
