The new Fernvale Community Club was officially opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Sunday (Sep 25). It houses a playground, childcare centre and other family-friendly amenities built with young families in mind. The community club also has a hawker centre and market where residents can buy raw ingredients and have them cooked on the spot at participating hawker stalls. Michelle Teo reports.
