Ng Eng Hen on Singapore's 24/7 air defence high alert

The Singapore Armed Forces maintains its air defence units at high alert. The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) conducts 24/7 surveillance to detect unknown or suspicious aircraft that are close enough to pose a potential threat. On average each year, the RSAF responds to more than 350 such incidents.
