Rahayu Mahzam on positive Internet and digital footprint

The Government will continue to build on existing efforts to ensure that children and youths can navigate the Internet safely and to protect them from prohibited content, said Parliamentary Secretary for Communications and Information Rahayu Mahzam. Replying to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Aug 3), she said given the dynamic and borderless nature of the Internet, the Government cannot realistically block every website which has undesirable content. She said it is equally important to educate young people on positive Internet usage and digital footprint.
