Saving Our Green Lungs
As global temperatures rise, a key question is emerging: Can nature be part of our response to a warming world? In Singapore, mangroves and seagrass meadows are among the most effective carbon-storing habitats, yet many have been lost over time.
This documentary follows OCBC and Singapore’s National Parks Board (NParks) as they work with NUS scientists and volunteers to restore these ecosystems. Through field research, lab studies and on-site restoration, we examine the science behind these efforts, the challenges involved and what it will take for Singapore’s carbon sinks to keep pace in a changing climate.
