Singapore’s total merchandise trade decreased by 5.2 per cent last year, reaching S$969 billion compared to S$1 trillion in 2019. But trade figures for 2021 are expected to grow, as Enterprise Singapore upgraded an earlier forecast from between 1 per cent and 3 per cent to between 2 per cent and 4 per cent.
