Tan Kiat How on maintaining steady supply of HDB flats amid COVID-19 pandemic

The increase in tender prices for public housing projects will not be passed down to flat buyers. Minister of State for National Development Tan Kiat How gave this assurance in reply to Parliamentary questions on Monday (Jul 26). He also reassured buyers that there will be a steady supply of public housing flats to meet demand. The Housing and Development Board has been working with its contractors and consultants to keep construction progress on track and avoid further delays as much as possible, while ensuring that project quality and safety standards are not compromised, he said.
