Those suffering from addictions will get more help when treatments for drug and alcohol addiction are included in the MediShield Life health insurance plan in March next year. The proposal for inclusion was approved on Monday (Dec 21). Treatments for the use of illicit controlled substances such as cannabis and heroin, however, will remain excluded. Deborah Wong with more.
