Ng Ling Ling on Constitution and Penal Code Amendment Bills relating to Section 377A

In Parliament on Tuesday (Nov 29), MP Ng Ling Ling shared why she believed that in view of the repeal of Section 377A, the House had a duty to set in place constitutional amendments to clarify the definitions of marriage and family in Singapore. She also spoke of how her own experiences with homosexual friends, and as a community leader garnering feedback from youths, showed her the need for human kindness, compassion and love to prevail over judgement and stigmatisation.
