With borders now open, chances are, you’ve got travel plans already lined up. If you find yourself in the city of London, pay a trip to the Saatchi Gallery, where you’ll be able to see some of Tiffany & Co’s most magnificent creations through the course of its 185-year-old history.

The exhibition, titled Vision & Virtuosity, is now open and will run till Aug 19. Admission is free.

Over 400 objects from the house’s archives are on display, taking visitors through a visual chronicle of Tiffany & Co ever since its founding in New York City.

The exhibition consists of seven chapters. The first room is a showcase of the house’s legendary window displays at the Fifth Avenue flagship store, as well as Tiffany & Co boutiques around the world. The second room chronicles the jeweller’s influence in pop culture. Here, each iteration of the famed Blue Box are on display.

The third room is centred on the house’s annual Blue Book high jewellery creations, including creations by legendary Tiffany designer, Jean Schlumberger. The fourth room celebrates Tiffany’s heritage of pioneering the engagement tradition, paying homage to the house’s renowned engagement rings, including the Tiffany Setting.

The fifth room is devoted to Breakfast At Tiffany’s, the legendary film starring Audrey Hepburn. Important historical objects from the film’s production are displayed here, including Audrey Hepburn’s original black Givenchy dress worn in the opening sequence of the film. Also on display is Hepburn’s original script for the film, complete with her personal annotations.

The last chapter of the exhibition takes visitors through the craftsmanship of Tiffany’s diamonds. Among the 19th-century jewels displayed in this room is a diamond brooch made in Paris in 1855 by Freres Bapst, the French court’s jeweller, for Empress Eugenie of France, which was later acquired by Charles Lewis Tiffany.

The exhibition then comes to a dramatic conclusion with a showcase of the legendary 128.54 carat Tiffany Diamond, a rare sight and one of the most important yellow diamonds in the world. It has famously been worn only four times in history, most notably by Audrey Hepburn and most recently by Beyonce for the house’s 2021 About Love campaign.
