Given the rising number of Covid-19 patients here — infants and children among them — I am writing to express concern about young children who are admitted to hospital for the disease, which could mean isolation from their parents.

I cannot imagine the anxiety that a child has to endure during hospitalisation and the trauma that the child must bear in the aftermath.

I have written to the Ministry of Health via Facebook, but I have not received a reply.

Could the ministry disclose the procedures for children who are admitted to hospital for Covid-19?
