CNA938 Rewind - Celebrate the fabulous Five Footway Festival with Chinatown Business Association 

In ‘Destination Anywhere’ Melanie Oliveiro discovers the Five Footway Festival, happening during the March school holidays and organised by the Chinatown Business Association. Taking place from 14 to 23 March 2025, the Five Footway Festival celebrates the iconic covered walkways of Singapore’s historic shophouses, known as ‘five-footways’. It also honours Chinatown’s storied past through a line-up of activities - from guided tours and meet-and-greets with stilt walkers to a Chinese Opera Roving Exhibition. Chinatown Business Association’s Yick Suan Lim, will also talk about hands-on workshops such as plate spinning, kaya-making, Chinese ink painting, Teochew png kueh making, and more.
