A near-fatal road accident left Takalah Tan with severe brain and bodily injuries in the prime of his life. At 24, the former fitness buff and commando officer lost his memory and sense of who he was. But a re-discovered a poem he wrote when he was a teenager came back to save him from despair. Despite his memory deficits and physical challenges, Takalah built a new life for himself, one that has a more profound purpose — to be an inspiration to others going through their own adversities.
