Ramlee Suite”, a tribute to film and music legend P. Ramlee. Arranger Julian Wong, will describe how he mined P. Ramlee’s body of work to re-compose familiar melodies – like Azizah, Geteran Jiwa and Tunggu Sekejap – into three movements, accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra. Ivan Heng, performer and founding artistic director of Wild Rice will talk more about P. Ramlee’s enduring legacy and how differently this production will be presented to the concertgoers.
