In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro talks to two of the performers starring in theatre production house SRT’s latest dinner and onstage experience: “Fried Rice Paradise – The Makan Party”. Set to the catchy tunes of Dick Lee, the interactive experience is about two daughters Nancy and Fancy who battle for the Fried Rice Paradise empire run by their mother Bee Lean. Apart from enjoying the musical as the story unfolds in front of them, the audience also gets to feast on a hearty four-course feast at Paradox Singapore Hotel. They also have to vote which chef’s dishes they prefer: Fancy’s bold new flavours or Nancy’s timeless classics. Actors Serene Chen (Bee Lean) and Natalie Yeap (Nancy) will discuss their roles and how the show has been received so far.
