In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Jennifer Lam, a National Gallery Singapore curator, about the ongoing “Becoming Lim Tze Peng”, a bilingual exhibition tracing the artistic evolution of Singapore’s oldest living and active artist. Lam will describe the Cultural Medallion recipient’s solo exhibition featuring over 50 artworks curated from Lim’s personal and Singapore’s public art collections. She’ll also highlight Lim’s nostalgic depictions of well-loved everyday Singapore scenes, as well as the invention of his own distinct style of calligraphy.
