In this 'Made in SG' special, Melanie Oliveiro gets the breaking story from Melanie Chew, Mother of two Team Singapore equestrians: Caroline and Catherine. Chew’s younger daughter Caroline has just competed in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, while her elder daughter Catherine has represented Singapore as a finalist in two Asian Games and five SEA Games, achieving gold and silver in the 2015 SEA Games. Chew, Founder of EQUAL - a charity organisation using equine-assisted programmes to help at-risk kids in their healing journey, also tells us how she was previously a show jumper who later went on to helm the Equestrian Federation of Singapore from 2007 – 2017.
