Daily Cuts - From civil servant to full time artist – meet Kelly Ser

In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Singaporean artist, Kelly Ser, about her original works of art and merchandise. Ser will talk about how she went from being a civil servant for over a decade, to striking it out on her own as a full-time artist and founder of Kelly Ser Atelier. She’ll explain how Singapore’s traditional architecture, symbols and landmarks inspire her modern contemporary creations. She’ll also highlight how the more popular designs have been reproduced into merchandise and homeware items like coasters, tea towels, grocery bags and apparel.
