In ‘Culture Club’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Joella Kiu, Curator, and Angelica Ong, Curatorial Assistant, Singapore Art Museum - the curators behind the ongoing art exhibition ‘Olafur Eliasson: Your curious journey’. Kiu and Ong describe how the exhibition presents a broad range of artworks that employ diverse media that address major themes of his three-decade-long practice – embodiment, experience, perception, as well as the urgency of climate action. They also discuss how Eliasson’s artworks use ephemeral materials, such as light, wind, fog, and water, to conjure up shimmering rainbows, swirling mists and more.
