At least 21,000 have perished from the Turkiye and Syria earthquake. Back home, there have been many public appeals to provide support for rescue efforts - be it donation of winter clothes, non-perishable foods, and money for victims to get back on their feet. 

Singapore Today spoke to Satwant Singh, chairman of Mercy Relief, and Tajjlee and Sriwayuni, Singaporean siblings who have started their own fundraising campaign while on the ground.
