Daily Cuts - Invasive species may threaten Singapore's flora and fauna
Recent reports have highlighted the issue of invasive species of plants and animals that threaten Singapore’s flora and fauna. To tackle the issue, WWF-Singapore organizes an “invasive species management” event at the Rail Corridor, where volunteers uproot weeds that threaten the native flora every third Friday of the month. Asia First’s Arnold Gay and Andrea Heng spoke with Jayasri Lakshminarayanan, head of education and outreach at WWF-Singapore, who shared more about the impact of invasive species.
