The Singapore Red Cross recently launched a new programme called 'Responders for Resilience'. This programme aims to train a thousand volunteers in areas such as standard first aid, psychological first aid, and befriending skills. It all started in part because of shrinking family sizes and a fast-ageing population. Charis Chan, Assistant Secretary-General, Operations, Singapore Red Cross tells us more.
