Justina Pang spent about five years as a police officer, including a year in the special victims unit. She was inspired by her grandfather, a police officer who sustained a gunshot wound while fending off a robbery. But she decided to hang up her crimefighting uniform to prevent an increasingly worrying type of crime — scams. As an anti-scam specialist with Singapore's largest bank, DBS, Justina helps protect customers from losing their savings — and peace of mind — to unscrupulous scammers. She shares what she's learned from her career journey, and what she personally does to protect herself and her family from scams.

In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Jennifer Lam, a National Gallery Singapore curator, about the ongoing “Becoming Lim Tze Peng”, a bilingual exhibition tracing the artistic evolution of Singapore’s oldest living and active artist. In ‘Made in SG’, Melanie Oliveiro speaks with Vinita Ramani, journalist, critic and writer of the comic, "Bearing Witness". This mini graphic novel was inspired by Ramani’s true story of a forty-something mother who discovers during an ultrasound scan that her baby passed away in utero. Ramani highlights the process of putting her experiences into comic book format with the help of an illustrator, and how comics and graphic novels can shed a respectful light on so-called taboo topics like pregnancy loss, grief and acceptance.
