Daily Cuts - No hype around Great Singapore Sale this year

The Great Singapore Sale took place from June to Sept. But seems like there’s not much hype around it this year! The Singapore Retailers Association says they will no longer organise or invest in marketing campaigns for the event from next year onwards. Instead, they will act as a “coordinating partner”. Simone Morandi, Accenture Song’s Growth Markets commerce lead wrote the commentary on CNA.Asia called, ‘Retail festivals like the Great Singapore Sale have lost their relevance – it was a long time coming’.
