Our population is not just ageing, but ageing rapidly. By 2030, one in every four Singaporeans will be aged 65 years and above. And that means more family members will need regular care. It’s a concern especially since family sizes are shrinking. But NTUC has some recommendations to help employees who are caregivers of elderly family members. Yeo Wan Ling, Director of ‘NTUC U Women and Family’ & Director of ‘NTUC U SME' tells us the issues that our caregivers are facing.
