Daily Cuts - Platform workers get more protection, but who pays the extra costs?

Parliament has passed a landmark bill that offers better protection for platform workers. While a triumph, it is set to cost more for platform companies, which will likely pass on those costs to consumers.  Andrea Heng and Hairianto Diman explore further with a commentary author, Terence Ho, Associate Professor in Practice, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, who says paying the higher fees could be well worth it.
