Daily Cuts - Saudi Arabia's Riyadh wins World Expo 2030 bid

Representatives of 182 member states of the Bureau International des Expositions have voted overwhelmingly in favour Riyadh hosting the 2030 World Expo. It easily beat South Korea's port city of Busan and Italy's capital city, Rome, for the right to host the global event. Asia First's Arnold and Andrea check in with Dr Joseph Cheer, Professor of Sustainable Tourism and Heritage, Associate Dean (International) at Western Sydney University, to understand how Riyadh won so easily.
