Daily Cuts - Spotlight on celebrated photographer Sebastião Salgado

In ‘Destination Anywhere’, Melanie Oliveiro finds out where Singaporeans and Singapore residents can go to check out a major exhibition of the works of award-winning photographer Sebastião Salgado. “AMAZÔNIA: Photographs by Sebastião Salgado” is a multisensory and immersive exhibition comprising over 200 black-and-white photographs by the Brazilian lensman and photojournalist, capturing the beauty and majesty of the Amazon jungle and the indigenous communities. National Museum of Singapore assistant curator Samuel Lee will highlight several of the exhibition’s standout sections, including one where visitors can touch and feel the subjects of some of these incredible photos.
