US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in China for three days of talks in Shanghai and Beijing, following a series of engagements between the two countries in recent months. The meeting comes as China faces pressure from the US on multiple fronts. But Einar Tangen, Senior Fellow, Taihe Institute and Chairman, Asia Narratives told Asia First’s Andrea Heng and Joel Chua that it’s crucial for the two nations to get past their differences in order to work and lead together.
