There have been warnings, and threats by both Israel and Hamas. PM Benjamin Netanyahu promises to finish what Hamas started. And Israel’s ambassador to the UN says destroying Hamas is their utmost priority. Meanwhile, Hamas is threatening the lives of hostages if Israel continues attacking without warning. So safe to say, this is not a destination to consider for your next overseas trip. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Singaporeans to leave if you're in the affected areas. But there is a tour group that will go ahead with their plans to visit holy sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. Daily Cuts - Squash could be included in the LA28 Olympics

We’re excited to hear that Squash could be included in the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. This is for the 2028 games. Cricket is another sport that could make its return to the world of Olympics after 128 years! All of this is still at proposal stage - Needs to be reviewed and ratified by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board. Alex Wan, General Manager at the Singapore Squash Rackets Association is also excited for this proposal.

Daily Cuts - Local young chef bags top 3 spot at a prestigious competition

The big wins just keep coming for Singapore! We’ve bagged medals at the Asian Games. Our very own actress Rebecca Lim has been nominated for a prestigious award. And now, a local chef has bagged a top 3 spot at the coveted San Pellegrino Young Chefs Competition in Milan! Ian Goh is a sous chef from Michelin-starred modern Korean restaurant, Nae:um. And he's the only Asian representative after winning the regional finals in October last year.

10 October is World Mental Health Day. We're shedding some light on the hope and possibilities for individuals living with mental health challenges — even serious ones. Valerie, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and she currently works in the social services sector as a programme manager. She's also pursuing her postgraduate qualifications in counselling.
