For the first time in Asia, there’s a course on menstruation, and it goes beyond biology. Instead, it focuses on period poverty, stigmatisation and equality. We speak to Prof Ruby Huang from the School of Medicine in National Taiwan University about it.. We also speak with Dr Selina Tang, a Lecturer with the School of Humanities & Social Sciences at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She talks about the mental health issues that young people face, and how we can support and empower them to tackle these challenges.
