Mr Eyo Hock Seng has devoted more than five decades to wayang kulit, a traditional shadow puppetry art practised in Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries, including Indonesia and Thailand.

The 71-year-old grandfather from Kelantan, Malaysia, is believed to be the only Chinese tok dalang, or puppet master, who is still actively performing in the country.

His passion has rubbed off on his grandson who, at 15 years old, is on the way to becoming a senior puppet master soon.
