Fadza is passionate about covering stories on conflict and disasters, arts and culture, sports, and social justice. 

He began as a freelancer and fixer for CNA in 2018, before joining full-time in October 2022. He has previously worked with international outlets including Reuters, BBC and NHK World. 

He is a 2024 SOPA Award winner for Excellence in Arts and Culture Reporting for his work on the Bujang Valley in Kedah with CNA correspondent Aqil Haziq.

He graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia in 2009 with a bachelor degree of Laws and was called to the bar in 2010. He worked for four years as a prosecutor in a government enforcement agency in Kuala Lumpur, before deciding to pursuing his passion for journalism.
