There is a corroded metal barrier that has fallen into disuse next to an SP Group substation near the Delta Swimming Complex and Redhill MRT Station.
This tall and rusty barrier has not been used for many years along that stretch, which is not a functioning road.
Many residents and swimmers pass under it daily to get to the swimming pool.
If the barrier gives way, it will fall onto someone's head. For public safety, the authorities should remove it as soon as possible, before a pedestrian is hurt.
It is an accident waiting to happen.
