Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 7: Sharael Taha on plans to build new mosques and encouraging investment in youths
In parliament on Monday (Mar 10), MP Sharael Taha welcomed the government's plans to build new mosques and called for the mosques to be accessible by public transport, pedestrian paths as well as cycling routes. Turning to the issue of empowering youths in the community, Mr Sharael noted that guidance and mentorship are crucial in helping youths complete their studies and explore opportunities in growing industries. He asked the Culture, Community and Youth Minister to share outcomes of efforts in this area and how more professionals and companies can be encouraged to support youth development.
