Together with Haeju Kim - Senior Curator at Singapore Art Museum – Zhao will talk about how ‘Seeing Forest’ was first exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2024 and how different this latest iteration is in Singapore i.e. bigger, for one. Both will explain what visitors could understand from walking around these sometimes ceiling-high artworks that mimic a secondary forest filled with sights, sounds, broken vintage finds and stories.
