Valerie, was diagnosed with schizophrenia, and she currently works in the social services sector as a programme manager. She's also pursuing her postgraduate qualifications in counselling.

Daily Cuts - Smart community fridges reduce food wastage

Smart fridges are now available at Bukit Timah and Bukit Gombak. This is part of a food rescue initiative, which sees items closer to expiry dates being made free to participants, instead of being thrown away. The digital aspect would enable inventory to be tracked and communicated to participants on a more timely basis, compared to food rescues conducted in person.
