Waslen will recount how and why she launched the platform in Singapore in 2021 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. Post-pandemic, Waslen will explain how DayAway has expanded to other  markets including Hong Kong, Thailand, Australia and the United Arab Emirates. She will also talk about how she and her team curate hyper-local experiences like visiting a workshop offered by a family of artisans, for example.
