Malaysia has cut diesel subsidies as part of a reform plan, with handouts to hopefully cushion the impact of inflation especially for the lower income demographic. The move is to save billions of dollars in Malaysia’s coffers, but Asia First's Hairianto Diman and Susan Ng find out if it means higher costs passed down to customers including in Singapore.
