A recent poll shows that nearly seven in 10 companies think it’s feasible to implement a four-day work week, which aligns with new guidelines for employers to roll out flexi-work arrangements come December. Yet companies like Amazon have u-turned on such policies with a return-to-office order. What’s behind the reluctance, and what risks are these firms taking by doing so?
