The Climate Ambition Summit also took place on the sidelines. It’s also known as the ‘no nonsense’ summit and it’s quite unique with the focus on the ‘first movers and doers’. Professor Mark Howden, Director at The Australian National University, Institute for Climate, Energy & Disaster Solutions says no one really knows why US and China were not present.
