Daily Cuts - S1E306: Reaching out to rough sleepers
According to a survey conducted by the Ministry of Social and Family Development on Nov 11, 2022, Singapore's rough sleeping population has shrunk by about 40 per cent. One group which deserves credit is the government's Partners Engaging and Empowering Rough Sleepers (PEERS) network. CNA938's Arnold Gay and Justine Moss speak with two members of the Homeless Hearts of Singapore non-profit organisation, which is part of the PEERS network. Co-founder Abraham Yeoh and Head Volunteer Derek Lim tell them about what more needs to be done to help rough sleepers and the homeless.
